Fashion is a powerful tool to aid
creative self-expression. The act of getting dressed is a daily activity that everyone partakes in. Fashion enthusiast or not, we all begin our day with the same question:

“What am I going to wear today?”

“I Feel Pretty” celebrates the art of getting dressed by exploring how fashion can be
utilised to communicate different emotions and identities. The exhibition consists of four rooms, each of which is curated to be an immersive experience of four different emotions. The artworks investigate fashion illustration’s ability to convey emotion and atmosphere in ways unique to other fashion communication art forms by injecting emotion into the colour, mark-making, and compositions. Most importantly, this exhibition aims to explore the non-exclusive side of fashion by focussing on how clothes affect our psychology and our daily lives.
